Roberto Debono
Roberto is a fifth-year medical student and has an LRSM in piano. Over all we can describe him as an adventurous guy, keen on sports and the outdoor life. Through a virtual conversation we’re going to get to know him a bit more.
Hi Rob! I’d like to ask you a few questions, here they are:
What encouraged you to join this group?
What encouraged me to join MAGIS were the friends I had at that time when I joined the community i.e. 4 years ago. Most of my friends were attending these meetings and so I thought it worth giving it a try.
Do you feel that it makes a difference to you being in CLC or is it just the same as being a member of a religious group outside CLC?
Actually I've never been part of a religious group outside CLC. I have never made part of a religious
group outside MAGIS. So, I cannot really compare. What I can say is that the grounds on which CLC is based i.e. community, prayer and mission are healthy and I feel the meetings and the community are supportive to me in my everyday life.
In which areas of your life do you feel CLC has helped you and where do you feel you can give most contribution?
I always consider MAGIS as a family. And like a family, the community is first and foremost supportive, encouraging, involving and gives me a sense of belonging.
